In 2016, Docs4GreatApes answered a call to top up scholarship funding provided by the Houston Zoo for training wildlife veterinarians in East Africa. The Wildlife ConserVet Education Project grew out of our experience sponsoring three outstanding African veterinarians as they faced the challenge of completing their Master of Science in Wildlife Health Management degree programs.
ConserVet now provides scholarships for tuition and living expenses for clinical internship as well as Master's degree programmes. Read about the deserving recipients below.
